dc.description.abstract | A Channel Sensitive Processor (CSP) which improves upon the detection performance of the traditional matched filter is developed. This method compensates for the performance degradation of the matched filter due to dense multipath conditions by utilizing existing information about the channel propagation conditions. Furthermore, it is proven that the CSP is able to enhance target detection in a reverberation limited environment. Finally, the sensitivity of the CSP to mismatch of the source coordinates is demonstrated. | |
